Something has to be done. We, the People, have to take action collectively to alter the course that corporate and political America is taking us. We can not let our goverment and our corporations just run-amuck.
By switching to hybrid vehicles and properly configuring them with the proper tires and accessories, we can undermine the profiteering of the oil companies.
A shift away again from monster vehicles like SUV’s is imperative.
They will not lower gas prices back again unless we force their hand. Period.
We mobilized an army and invaded world foes when last time gas prices were given a drastic jump. Now, they (oil companies) will screw us again.
The worst part, yet not surprising; is that the political adminstration in the White House is aparty to this sociatal screwing from oil corporations. They are Texas-based. Tied into the money that has negative influence on our society.
I voted for Bush. Yet I am very ashamed to admit it. I had hopes that the Republicans would maintain a strong military. I hoped that they would be aggressive and proactive in world affairs. and, I hoped that they would – out of spite for the Democrats – make some actual progress within the country itself.
What the hell are they doing in Washington ? and how can we group together as a society and change them??
