About Me

September 21, 2005

This is the story of me. Just me. Humble little me.

Right now,……. it’s the short version.

Ok, where do I begin?

My name is Ron Pemberton. I live in the United States of America. In the state of Tennessee. In a city called Chattanooga. It is 115 miles North of Atlanta, Georgia.
This makes Atlanta the key major metropolis by which I’m influenced. It is strongly international. And, it’s music and club scenes lean toward alternative. It is where I do all my shopping for everything.

At this writing in mid 2005, I am 39 yrs. old. I’m a Saggttarious. Who can’t spell.

This makes me old enough;but mind you,…barely; to remember the hippies walking around during the sixties.

I recall Nixson, and Vietnam. I recall the first hand-held battery operated calculator on the market. The Atari computer amazing everyone in the neighborhood. And George Lucas was still a nobody.

I like Rock. In the immortal words of Joe Dirt,

“I’mmmm aaa rockerrr, through and through – Van Halen,..NOT Van Hagar!

My favorite bands are still Led Zeppelin and Floyd. Pink Floyd. But, I’m eclectic. I also have periods where I’m totally obsessed with selections of Mozart,….and, George Strait.

I’m a very proud dad – My son Cameron is truly phenominal. He is a Most Excellent athelete in Basket Ball and, especially, Baseball. He’s only fourteen yrs. old, and he’s pushing six foot tall. He’s bright, very bright. He is his “own manâ€?, and was naturally born with a good-charactor and, a good-tempored nature. He has a good sense-of-humor. And loves his ipod.

Cameron is my hero and best friend.

I believe in God, and Christ. But I don’t call myself a Christian. At least, not a born-again. I’m what a few might call a Secular Humanist.

My Politics have evolved over the past 25 years. I am neither Republican or Democrat. I am not an Independant, either.

What I am is a person who believes that “.. only that which stands to reason should rule the day“…….

If, with all circumstances kept in perfect context, the decision to be made, is one that may be catagorized as conservative; then, let it be so, so long as it is truth. And, if the circumstances call for a decision that can be classified as liberal, then, let it be so, if it stands to reason. Truth and Reason, not greed and materialistic gain.

I am a Patriot. I believe in the Republic.
